Houston Methodist Hospital. Patients have access to Houston Methodist Cancer Center at six locations throughout the system. The center includes clinics devoted to specific subspecialties, such as suspicious lung nodules or triple negative breast cancer, which is a less common but more aggressive and life-threatening form of the disease. As of August 2017, Houston Methodist cancer researchers made progress in their creation of a blood test that can identify breast cancer patients who are at increased risk for developing brain metastasis.
