Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (Washington, D.C.). Established in 1970, the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center is part of Washington, D.C.-based Georgetown University Medical Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. The center boasts more than 240,000 square feet of clinic and research space where patients have access to 220 ongoing clinical trials. Georgetown Lombardi is the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Washington, D.C., area.
