Via Christi Health, Wichita (KS), a member of Ascension. Via Christi Health is the largest provider of healthcare services in Kansas and employs more 10,000 people. The system's Via Christi Cancer Institute is located inside Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, and is the only cancer-specific surgical and treatment center in the region. The institute is the only cancer program in Wichita accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the Foundation for Accreditation for Cellular Therapy. For 2016, the information service CareChex ranked Via Christi among the top 50 hospitals in the country for excellence in cancer care
