Rhode Island Hospital (Providence). Rhode Island Hospital has served its community since the 1800s and is a founding partner of the Comprehensive Cancer Center, which provides cancer care to residents across three community hospitals. In 2015, the cancer center received three-year accreditation with commendation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Rhode Island Hospital is also designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Complex & Rare Cancers.
