Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University (St. Louis). Barnes-Jewish Hospital has been home to the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center, the only cancer center in the state with a Comprehensive Cancer Center designation from the National Cancer Institute and membership in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, since 2001. More than 350 scientists and physicians care for more than 8,000 newly diagnosed patients there each year. U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital as No. 15 in the nation for cancer care for 2016-17.
