Octavio Diaz, MD. CMO of Tenet Healthcare Corp. (Dallas). Dr. Diaz became Tenet's CMO in December 2016. Dr. Diaz oversees the company's commitment to improving safety and quality at Tenet's 79 hospitals and affiliated facilities. In 2004, he joined Tenet's team as Worcester, Mass.-based Saint Vincent Hospital's emergency department chief and later became the hospital's CMO. Most recently, Dr. Diaz was CMO of Tenet's Florida and Northeast regions, which includes 19 hospitals. He earned his medical degree from Chicago-based University of Illinois College of Medicine and is board certified in emergency medicine.
