Michael Henderson, MD. CMO of University of Mississippi Medical Center (Jackson). Dr. Henderson was appointed CMO of University of Mississippi Medical Center in April 2015. Prior to his appointment, he spent five years as chief quality officer of Cleveland Clinic. In 2012, Dr. Henderson received the Pete Conrad Global Patient Safety Award, created by Astronaut Pete Conrad's wife to honor global contributors to patient safety. He received his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degrees from the University of St. Andrew's School of Medicine in Scotland and was named a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, also in Scotland.
