Roger A. Ray, MD. Executive Vice President and Chief Physician Executive of Carolinas HealthCare System (Charlotte, N.C.). In addition to his role as executive vice president and CMO for Carolinas HealthCare, Dr. Ray is the system's chief physician executive. Prior to joining Carolinas in 2007, he served as chief quality officer of BayCare Health System in Tampa, Fla., CMO of Morton Plant Mease Healthcare in Clearwater, Fla., CMO of AnMed Health System in Anderson, S.C., and practiced clinical neurology for 10 years.
