Baptist Health Lexington (Ky.). Baptist Health Lexington is a 383-bed tertiary care facility, as well as a major medical research and education center. The hospital operates six outlying outpatient centers, including Kentucky locations in Georgetown, Nicholasville and Richmond. It is especially well-known for its excellence in heart care and cancer care, but has also made a mark in maternity care, having delivered approximately 150,000 babies in its history.
Baptist Health Lexington was established in 1954, and the organization has since received a number of accolades. Just last fall, Kentucky consumers voted three Baptist Health hospitals as the No. 1 healthcare facility in their hometowns.
