OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital (Columbus). With roots dating back to 1892, OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Center was the first hospital in the state of Ohio to be certified by The Joint Commission as a comprehensive stroke center.
The Magnet-designated hospital was recently named the No. 2 hospital in the Columbus metro area by U.S. News & World Report, with its neurology and neurosurgery specialties ranking among the top 50 in the nation. In 2015, Riverside Methodist Hospital was named to Truven Health Analytics' 100 Top Hospitals list and was among 17 hospitals in the country to receive Truven's Everest Award.
Along with providing nationally recognized quality care, the hospital earned an "A" grade from The Leapfrog Group for patient safety in 2014.
