The University of Cincinnati Health plans to host a series of open houses this week to fill roughly 250 nursing positions across the system, according to WHIOTV 7.
UC Health will hold at least three open houses throughout the month for interested nurses seeking to learn more about the health system. UC Health includes four inpatient campuses and 61 outpatient locations, the report states.
"At UC Health, we care for patients with the most complex illnesses and injuries in the region," Beverly Bokovitz, DNP, RN, chief nursing officer of University of Cincinnati Medical Center, UC Health's flagship hospital, said in a press release. "Our more than 2,600 nurses lead the way in providing this advanced level of care every day, and we invite those who are interested in joining our team to visit an upcoming recruitment fair and learn more for themselves."
The open houses are scheduled to take place at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center on Oct. 11; at West Chester (Ohio) Hospital on Oct. 17; and at the Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care in Cincinnati on Oct. 23.
