The most desirable soft skill in all 50 states

A recent study has revealed how different states value different soft skills, from creativity to conflict resolution.

CashNet, an online lending platform, recently conducted an analysis to determine the most disproportionately popular soft skills for jobs in the 75th percentile of wages in every U.S. state. The company used publicly available data from the job-search site Indeed to assess demand for 46 predefined soft skills across job listings in the top 25% of the area's wage bracket, then identified each state's most "uniquely popular" soft skill, considering the difference from the national average.

Across the board, strategic thinking was the most coveted soft skill for highly paid jobs, requested by 64.77% of listings. It was followed by negotiation (58.62%), and persuasion (57.41%).
