Orlando-based Florida Hospital will hold a nurse hiring event to fill positions systemwide, the Orlando Business Journal reported.
The system said it will conduct on-site interviews for registered nurse and graduate nurse positions from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 13. The interviews will take place at Florida Hospital locations in Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Celebration, East Orlando, Kissimmee, Orlando and Winter Park.
Available positions include emergency, endoscopy, intensive care unit, neuro medical, operating room, progressive care unit and other areas.
The hiring event will take place amid Florida Hospital's capital improvement plans, which include a $26 million, 27,000-square-foot surgical expansion to its Kissimmee location, as well as a new 100-bed, 300,000-square-foot inpatient tower at its Florida Hospital Winter Garden freestanding emergency room, according to the report. An $88 million, 174,224-square-foot new patient tower is also planned at Florida Hospital Celebration.
