Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in Washington to Axe 19 Positions

Yakima (Wash.) Valley Memorial Hospital plans to lay off 19 workers at the end of May, according to a KAPP TV report.

Employees at the hospital's rehabilitation center, The Springs, are being let go because the hospital will cease to offer occupational and physical therapy due to budget cuts, according to the report.

The laid off employees will have the opportunity to be considered for other positions at Yakima Valley Memorial, according to the report.
