SEIU Holds Rally for Unionization at St. Francis Hospital in New York

The Service Employees International Union 1199 held a rally outside of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based Saint Francis Hospital Thursday to promote unionization, according to a Mid Hudson News report.

 

Employees at Saint Francis will vote on whether or not to unionize in the first week of September, according to the report. The vote will be supervised by the National Labor Relations Board.

According to the Mid Hudson News, several dozen people attended the rally.
