Coshocton (Ohio) County Memorial Hospital and the Ohio Nurses Association have reached a contract agreement that will run through 2017, according to a Coshocton Tribune report.
Details of the contract, which will run through June 8, 2017, and covers the hospital's 89 registered nurses, have not been released, but the ONA has ratified the agreement, according to the report.
A hospital spokeswoman told the Coshocton Tribune that talks between the two parties were cordial, saying "we are pleased by the professionalism and hard work that was exemplified by all parties involved."
Coshocton County Memorial has faced financial and patient volume issues recently. The hospital implemented layoffs in March and announced that its obstetrical unit will close June 27.
