In the third quarter, the number of jobs posted on HealtheCareers Network, a healthcare recruiting solution for providers and job-seekers, increased 4 percent over job postings during the second quarter, according to HealtheCareers' Q3 2013 Healthcare Jobs Snapshot.
In all, 44,791 jobs were posted on the network by more than 3,000 employers last quarter.
According to the snapshot, the following were the top 10 states for healthcare hiring based on employer job postings on the network:
1. Texas
2. California
3. Florida
4. Pennsylvania
5. New York
6. Virginia
7. Colorado
8. Washington
9. Massachusetts
10. Connecticut
