Bryan-based Texas A&M Health partnered with Let's Talk Interactive as its new telehealth partner for behavioral health.
The HIPAA-compliant platform works to provide mental health services to underserved communities. The health system expects to provide over 7,000 new annual visits with the new platform, according to a June 21 Let's Talk Interactive news release.
"By working with LTI, an innovator in virtual care, we are able to consolidate our tele-behavioral care capabilities and address the challenges we have faced in making care accessible — from reducing the number of no-show appointments to improving tele-behavioral care coordination. This allows us to shift the focus to the care experience and make it seamless for all students, patients, providers and our communities across the state," Carly McCord, PhD, director of telebehavioral health and clinical associate professor at the Texas A&M School of Medicine and School of Education and Human Development.
