The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston will ramp up investments in its transplant telehealth program throughout the rest of the year, SC Now reports.
MUSC Health-Florence (S.C.) Medical Center will be able to provide pre- and postoperative care for transplant patients through telehealth technology, Vance Reynolds, CEO of MUSC Health-Florence, told the publication.
The medical center aims to launch the updated services by Oct. 1, according to the report.
