Synergy Health and the University of South Florida Health Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation, both in Tampa, Fla., have entered into partnership where Synergy Health will be the sole provider of surgical instrument processing for CAMLS as well as invest in the school’s processing and training facilities, according to a news release.
The new partnership makes USF Health CAMLS the first medical simulation training center in the US that has instrument processing in both a hands-on and classroom setting, according to the news release.
Synergy Health has named USF Health CAMLS its designated academy for all instrument processing within the Americas, and also has plans to build an instrument sterilization center that will provide sterilization for more than 18 million surgical instruments every year.
