FDA approves first smallpox treatment & 2 other drugs this week

Here are the three latest drugs approved by the FDA since July 13.

1. Kisqali may now be used to treat women with a specific form of advanced or metastatic breast cancer in combination with an aromatase inhibitor.

2. TPOXX is the first drug approved to treat smallpox.

3. Symtuza is a darunavir-based single-tablet regimen used to treat adults with HIV-1 infections.
