Columbus, Ohio-based American Nitrile will receive $105 million in debt financing to aid in the completion of a new glove manufacturing plant in Grove City, the Columbus Dispatch reported March 9.
The company also raised an additional $35 million in equity from local investors, CEO Jacob Block told the Columbus Dispatch.
The company first announced the opening of the plant Sept. 8. It plans to produce 3.6 billion medical and nonmedical gloves annually and create about 400 jobs at the 527,000-square-foot facility.
