Medline, a healthcare manufacturer and distribution company, has steadily scooped up supply contracts with hospital and health systems over the last year.
Nine hospitals and health systems partnering with Medline:
1. Oceanside, Calif.-based Tri-City Medical Center picked Medline as its primary supplier in a contract worth $30 million.
2. Lincoln, Neb.-based Bryan Health tapped the company as its main vendor in a deal valued at $140 million.
3. Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, a three-hospital system, made a deal worth $200 million for Medline to exclusively distribute medical supplies.
4. Minneapolis-based Allina Health partnered with Medline in a prime vendor laboratory supply contract for an undisclosed amount.
5. Davenport, Iowa-based Genesis Healthcare System signed a contract worth $60 million after 10 years with a different supplier.
6. Dayton (Ohio) Children's Hospital entered a refreshed, yearslong deal valued at $10 million for Medline to exclusively supply lab products in addition to the former partnership, which included medical and surgical items. It is Medline's first pediatric hospital laboratory prime vendor agreement.
7. Boston-based Mass General Brigham tapped Medline as its strategic medical supply vendor on Feb. 27.
8. Marietta, Ga.-based Wellstar Health System entered a yearslong laboratory prime vendor agreement with Medline in April, expanding their existing partnership.
9. Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Mo., selected Medline as the sole supplier of its medical and surgical supplies in June.
