Texas Children's Hospital Unveils $575M Pavilion for Women

Texas Children's Hospital in Houston has opened its $575 million Pavilion for Women, according to a Houston Chronicle report.

The pavilion will offer obstetrics and gynecological care, including specialized care for women with high-risk pregnancies, and women's mental health care. Two obstetrics and gynecology physician practices recently acquired by Texas Children's will work at the new facility, in addition to physicians from the Baylor College of Medicine.

The pavilion is the most expensive project in the hospital's $1.5 billion Vision 2010 campaign, which also built a second children's hospital in the area.
