Along with its move to a new facility, the name of Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa (Calif.) will undergo a change too, according to a North Bay Business Journal.
Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa will become Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, according to the report. The regional name reflects the hospital's patient base, which extends beyond Santa Rosa throughout Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake and Napa counties. An effective date for the name change was not provided.
Later this year, the hospital will relocate to a new $284 million facility — its Chanate Campus in Santa Rosa, according to the report.
