Richmond-based HCA Virginia Health System announced it is changing the name of StoneSpring Medical Center in Dulles, Va., which will break ground this fall, to StoneSprings Hospital Center.
HCA Virginia changed the name to match its street address — Stone Springs Boulevard — as well as the current naming structure of HCA Virginia Health System in northern Virginia, according to the news release.
The $147 million, 230,000-square-foot new hospital, which will have 124 beds, is scheduled to open in December 2015 following the September 2013 opening of StoneSpring Emergency Center on the same site.
