Chinese Hospital in San Francisco is proposing a new $160 million hospital, according to a San Francisco Chronicle report.
The project would nearly double the current 54-bed hospital's 73,000 square feet and would add a 22-bed skilled nursing unit. The new hospital would still house 54 regular beds. If the project is approved, the facility would open in 2015.
Chinese Hospital also received approval from the Planning Commission yesterday to provide medical services in an unused building off site.
