Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System has opened a new $12.4 million freestanding emergency department and healthcare pavilion in Huntersville, N.C., according to a Cornelius News report.
The 21,000-square-foot facility includes a 24-hour ED, diagnostic imaging and a lab. The CMC-Huntersville pavilion is adjacent to a medical office building with outpatient surgery, endoscopy, a pain center, a retail pharmacy and physician offices.
The pavilion is affiliated with Carolinas Medical Center-University in Charlotte.
