J. Eric Evans. CEO of the Texas Region at Tenet Healthcare (Dallas). In April, Mr. Evans, 37, was appointed CEO for Tenet Healthcare's newly created Texas Region, leaving his post as CEO for Sierra Providence Health Network in El Paso, Texas, which he had held since September 2012. As Texas Region CEO, Mr. Evans oversees 23 hospitals and more than 80 outpatient facilities. He previously served as CEO of Lake Pointe Health Network in Rowlett, Texas, a position he began in 2010 when he was 32 years old. Before accepting this position, Mr. Evans had been with Lake Pointe Health Network since 2004. He was named a Rising Star by Becker's Healthcare in 2013, is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds an MBA from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.
