Cities that promote a healthy way of life are located in various regions of the U.S., according to an analysis released Jan. 5 by WalletHub, a personal finance website.
For the analysis, WalletHub compared the 100 most populated U.S. cities across two dimensions, "budget and participation" and "sports and outdoors." Analysts examined dimensions using 35 metrics, which ranged from the average monthly fitness club fee to the share of physically inactive adults.
