BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn., have signed a five-year strategic network partnership agreement, effective July 1.
Under the agreement, Erlanger will become the exclusive system in BlueCross Network E, which will be part of the state's health insurance exchange marketplace. Additionally, the two organizations will collaborate to develop patient care innovations to improve quality and cost of healthcare, according to the release.
