The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has issued an open solicitation to global healthcare entities for ideas to help build a "culture of health" in the United States. This is the first time RWJF has issued such a request.
The foundation's new effort to garner healthcare tips from across the world is being headed up by RWJF Director Karabi Acharya, ScD.
According to Dr. Acharya, "We are still focused, more than ever, on helping everyone in the U.S. live healthier lives. This is an open call for ideas from abroad that can bring us closer to that goal. We've always learned from other countries — this is just an acknowledgement that it's time we do that for health."
