The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration has launched an online educational resource center providing healthcare providers with tools to prevent worker injuries, improve patient safety and reduce cost.
OSHA's materials can help hospitals understand and assess workplace hazards and needs, and implement a proactive safety and health management system that benefits both workers and patients. The resources include fact sheets, self-assessments, patient safety flyers and guides for best practices.
