The National Quality Forum's Measure Applications Partnership on Nov. 19 released a list of standardized performance measures that HHS will consider for use in federal programs.
NQF has convened MAP since 2011, including more than 150 healthcare leaders and experts from over 100 organizations. MAP unites private and public sector stakeholders to identify measurement gaps across care settings, prioritize high-impact measures and recommend standardized measures for use in federal payment and reporting programs.
The list of measures currently under consideration are open for public comment until Nov. 25.
MAP will deliver its recommendations to HHS by Jan. 24, 2020, and publish reports on the measures in February and March 2020.
