Danville (Va.) Regional Medical Center has announced an expanded relationship with Duke University Health System to formalize a comprehensive hospital patient safety and quality affiliation.
The new quality program is an expansion of Danville Regional Medical Center and Duke's already existing partnership for cardiovascular care. The quality program will be modeled on integrated patient safety and quality improvement processes supported by leadership, performance improvement and culture and will also usher in a new leadership position — patient safety officer.
