Marla Koroly, MD, senior vice president for medical affairs and CMO at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, N.Y., has been appointed co-chair of the Chief Medical Officer Council for the New York Presbyterian Healthcare System.
This committee is comprised of CMOs from New York Presbyterian Healthcare System's affiliated hospitals, who work together to address healthcare quality, regulatory issues, management of medical staff and other issues relating to enhancing healthcare quality and efficiency.
Dr. Koroly established extensive internal quality measurements at Northern Westchester Hospital that surpass the standards defined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Hospital Quality Alliance National Hospital Quality Measures. Under Dr. Koroly's guidance, Northern Westchester Hospital also received numerous recognitions for providing high quality medical care.
