Advocate Health Care Joins American Cancer Society's Colorectal Screening Initiative

Oak Brook, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care announced it has joined the American Cancer Society's statewide colorectal cancer screening initiative to raise awareness about colorectal health and screen more people regardless of their insurance.

The ACS gave grants to four Advocate hospitals in Illinois — Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago — to provide free colonoscopies to eligible patients who are uninsured.
