Hawaii administered 14,705 COVID-19 shots Oct. 12, followed by New Jersey (13,684), Mississippi (13,252) and Colorado (6,094).
Though these states gave the most vaccinations Oct. 12, the ranking doesn't take into account population size or signify the nation's highest vaccination rates.
