Mass General Brigham rehab hospital receives $6M gift

Mass General Brigham's Spaulding Rehabilitation received a $6 million gift from an anonymous donor.

It is the second-largest gift in the Boston-based hospital's history and will be used to acquire, distribute and evaluate assistive technology for patients with spinal cord injuries, according to a July 6 news release shared with Becker's

The donation will augment the scope of The Travis Roy Center for Enhanced Independence with Spaulding launched in the fall. The center focuses on advancing personal independence and quality of life for patients with spinal cord injuries.
