Minnesota was ranked the best state for long-term services and support, according to a 2023 AARP ranking.
AARP completes a Long-Term Services and Supports Scorecard every three years. The scorecard analyzes state data around family care services, long-term care workforce, equity in nursing homes, emergency preparedness and more. It is a joint charitable project by AARP Foundation, The SCAN Foundation, the Commonwealth Fund and the John A. Hartford Foundation.
