Teva Pharmaceuticals has launched its generic version of Mylan's EpiPen Jr., the lifesaving allergy treatment for young children.
The generic EpiPen Jr. auto-injector will be available in most retail pharmacies across the U.S. at a price of $300 for a two-pack.
Teva already launched the EpiPen generic for adults after securing FDA approval on the product last August.
There has been a shortage of EpiPens in the U.S. and Mylan warned in June it expects shortages to continue.
