Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health, has expanded its partnership with specialty pharmacy company Shields Health Solutions.
The collaboration will enhance care coordination for nearly 3,000 providers across Sutter Health's specialty pharmacies, and the partnership will assist patients with navigating insurance and financial support to reduce costs and improve access to specialized treatments, according to an Oct. 24 news release shared with Becker's.
Initially focusing on cancer, rheumatology and dermatology, the collaboration aims to expand in the future. Shields Health currently partners with more than 80 health systems nationwide.
