Purdue Pharma launched a website last week to allow people who were hurt by its powerful opioid drug, OxyContin, to file claims against the company, The Hill reported.
The drugmaker also started a $23.8 million ad campaign to make the public aware of the website.
The Associated Press first reported that the site is part of Purdue Pharma's proposed bankruptcy settlement, which could be worth $10 billion.
The ads for the website are targeted to reach 95 percent of U.S. adults and will run on TV, radio and online.
The website says users have until June 30 to submit claims.
