Pfizer recalls children's Advil over mislabeled dosage information

Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, the drugmaker's over-the-counter division, is recalling one lot of bubble gum-flavored children's Advil suspension because of a dosage labeling error, according to USA Today.

The dosage cup provided in the package is marked with teaspoons, while the instructions on the label describe dosage information in milliliters.

A dosage error can result in an overdose, according to the recall alert.

Pfizer is encouraging consumers who purchased this over-the-counter product to visit the store they got it from for a full refund.
