Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Mo., has acquired an independent pharmacy, Ozark Radio News reported March 6.
The health system purchased Bradford Pharmacy, also in West Plains, and has already rebranded the facility to Ozarks Healthcare Pharmacy.
Ozarks Healthcare needed more space for pharmacy operations in part due to the expanded services offered at the system's new medical office building on its main campus, according to Pharmacy Director Katie Mahan.
The health system plans to close its previous pharmacy location in West Plains soon and transition those retail services to the new medical building, according to the report.
