Team Cuban Card, an offering from Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Co., is now accepted at Food Lion, Giant Food, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.
Cost Plus Drugs entered a collaboration with the grocery stores, which encompass more than 2,000 locations, according to a June 11 news release shared with Becker's. The agreement allows customers of Team Cuban Card — which prices medications at their manufacturing cost with a 15% markup and $9 dispensing and processing fee — to use the card at pharmacies in Food Lion, Giant Food, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.
Ahold Delhaize, the parent company of the grocery store chains, is the fourth-largest grocery retailer in the U.S., according to the release. Cost Plus Drugs previously made similar agreements with Kroger and Albertsons.
