Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health will take over ownership of two pharmacies in Minnesota in June, according to The Brainerd Dispatch.
The two Lakes Area Pharmacies, one in Pequot Lakes and the other in Pine River, were owned by area pharmacist David Parry, PharmD.
The transition in ownership will offer residents more coordinated care, as pharmacists will have access to patients' health history through the EHR, according to Essentia Health officials.
The pharmacy will offer prescription and over-the counter medications, safe disposal sites, medication management, online refills, mail delivery and vaccines.
