Beginning Sept. 8, Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, Maine, will consolidate all walk-in care at its downtown Brunswick location.
Here are three things to know about the move.
1. The move comes less than a week after a bankruptcy judge signed off on the merger of Brunswick-based Parkview Adventist Medical Center and Mid Coast Health Services, the parent company of Mid Coast Hospital.
2. The walk-in clinic at Parkview will relocate to the existing Mid Coast walk-in clinic in downtown Brunswick, where the newly expanded facility will be accessible to anyone in the community in need of non-emergent medical attention, Mid Coast said.
3. The downtown location is currently open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Beginning Sept. 8, the walk-in clinic will expand its hours to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
