CEOs say operational efficiency will be key to hospital survival, as providers learn to work with fewer resources to provide for more patients in a safer manner, according to a TeleTracking blog post.
The post cited results from an American Hospital Association survey from April 2014.
In response to what they planned to do over the next three years to adapt to the changing face of healthcare, more than 50 percent of CEOs indicated "improving efficiency" was a key strategy.
