A car crashed into Summa Health Green (Ohio) Medical Center June 20, injuring one patient and her husband, according to Cleveland.com.
Police said the car drove off the interstate, went down an embankment and took down a fence before hitting the hospital. The vehicle crashed into an exam room occupied by a female patient and her husband, both of whom were treated for injuries.
Witnesses told authorities the 37-year-old driver was swerving on the highway before the crash. He was taken to Akron (Ohio) City Hospital with unknown injuries. Authorities said suspected drugs were found inside his car. He may face charges, pending the results of an investigation.
